The Venetian glass mosaics are incredibly unique in this new Cathedral. The altar of sacrifice is 10′ long and features three 1′ diameter micro-mosaics displaying the Sacred Lamb, Chi Rho, and Alpha and Omega. The Cathedral also has mosaics created in the Rugo mosaic studio, which form an artistic design that graces the Papal dedication stone and the directory.
